Picos de Europa: San Glorio Pass

It is one of the great mountain passes in northern Spain and the one that most closely resembles the spirit of the Stelvio due to its altitude and series of curves. Leaving the town of Potes, the N-621 highway winds its way up to the summit at an altitude of nearly 1,600 meters. The pavement is excellent, and the hairpin turns follow one after another through limestone gorges. Be sure to stop at the “Mirador del Corzo” to admire the breathtaking panoramic view of the Picos de Europa.
