Angeln Tour – Around the Angeln Peninsula

A classic motorcycle loop tour through the Angeln region in the far north of Germany. The starting point is the bascule bridge in Kappeln on the Schlei. From here, the route heads north to the fishing village of Maasholm, past the red-and-white-striped Falshöft lighthouse on the Baltic Sea coast, to the picturesque harbor of Langballigau with its panoramic view of the Flensburg Fjord all the way to Denmark, and finally to the snow-white moated castle of Glücksburg. Passing through Flensburg with its historic rum harbor, the route takes you along the B 201 through the region’s characteristic hedgerow landscape back to Kappeln. The area between the Schlei, the Baltic Sea, and the Flensburg Fjord offers winding coastal roads, picturesque villages, and the vast open spaces of northern Germany—a classic route for motorcyclists in the far north.
